Our syrups, called shrubs, are distinctly tart and sweet, blending seasonal fruits and spices with organic apple cider vinegar. Our bitters are made by finding the best quality ingredients from our area, and extracting the bright clear expressions of the individual elements. What Are Drinking Vinegars?
Drinking Vinegars, also known as shrubs, originate from an early American tradition of blending fruit, spice, vinegar and sweetener to make a tart and delicious syrup. Shrubs make fantastic cocktail mixers, refreshing low-calorie sodas, and inspired ingredients in cooking. Vinegar boosts and balances the bright sweetness of fruit with tart overtones. Vinegar also quenches thirst and aids digestion.
What Are Bitters?
Bitters are botanical tinctures originally developed as medicines, but are now used as digestifs and cocktail flavorings. Our bitters are handcrafted from herbs, spices and organic cane alcohol. A few drops will add complexity to drinks, and in cooking they add depth and flavor. Bitters complete the home bar cart, used in classic cocktails or as a element in one’s own creations.
